Some Changes Just Ruin Everything

Do you remember when we were teenagers and went to the beach and stopped at 

"The Date Shack" and got the best date shakes ever?  

Well, changes have ruined it!!  Joel and I have stopped by so many times over 

the last years I can't keep track.  They were closed for renovations, 

the electricity was out, the blender broke... We finally got there on a cool windy 

Christmas Eve.  I was so excited to finally get my long awaited date shake

 that I remember so well from my childhood.  It has been taken over by Ruby's, 

which I love.  I think this is the only Ruby's that has date shakes.

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!

I remember big chucks of dates and about an inch of those chunks 

at the bottom of every cup.  Not any more.  Now the dates are almost 

creamed and invisible and really nothing at the bottom.  

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!!

I'm in no hurry to go back!!
