What could that mean, "Trying to stay home."? Well, Joel's office is close by and he owns the company, so he comes home when he isn't busy and has a chance to. He throws a "wrench in my wheel", as the saying goes, when he comes home and wants to do something with me. This week I had plans of getting things together to post on Craig's List and ebay. Needless to say, I'm not getting as much done each day as I originally had planned. But, Joel and I have had fun being together. I finally got some furniture and misc. stuff on Craig's list and will post things on ebay this weekend. I did get pictures taken and I already sold an antique vanity with a headboard. Cute, isn't it!?! She got a deal.
I saw a Childs Bentwood Rocker exactly like mine on ebay for $275.00 plus $90.00 shipping!!!
Mine is a steal at $125.00 I think.
Wanna go sledding? This is an oldie!!!!!!
No, these are not the windows my husband installs!! They are the ones he REMOVES!!!
Yesterday Joel ran some errands with me and I wanted to get bananas for my "almost World famous Banana-Walnut-Chocolate Chip Bread". But 4 bananas weighed in at almost 2# and at .69 a pound, no way. See, I make at least 2 double batches at a time. So while we were at Wholsesome Choice, I asked the produce man if they sell bags of old bananas for a dollar or 2. He said I could have a case for $3.00!!! Now that's a deal. This morning after a good work-out at the gym, I sat and peeled and bagged over 90 bananas.
And here is the finished product. 40 loaves of Yummy Banana-Walnut-Chocolate Chip Bread.
Plus, there are 5 bags of peeled bananas in the freeze ready when I decide to spend another day baking. That will give me another 50 loaves!!!!! And just think, I don't eat it!!!!!!!
My Missionary Son, Derek will be home in 15 days and he LOVES my bread. I know he will be happy to see one of the freezers loaded!!!!!!!!
I love to bake. It makes me happy when people tell me it is "so good". I'm happy today!!!
keep up the good work;)
